Armani to Add Chic to The Milton
Exclusive luxury furnishings from Giorgio Armani's global fashion empire have been specially imported to Brisbane to furnish FKP Property Group's cutting edge $230 million The Milton.
The development will boast the collection, by the Italian designer's Armani/Casa division, within its resident facilities.
The first shipment of pieces has arrived from Italy and is taking pride of place in the sales centre, with further pieces to be sourced to coincide with the project's completion and the latest available range.
The current collection, includes lounge chairs, coffee tables, vases and cushions. On completion, the furnishings will be situated throughout The Milton's reception, foyer and residential recreational areas including the exclusive residents' lounge and will range from sofas, ottomans and tables, to cushions and artefacts.
Construction of The Milton, situated next to Milton Railway Station and just steps from Park Road's dining and shopping precinct, is scheduled to commence in the coming months and will rejuvenate the heart of Milton. It has been designed by prominent architects and interior designers DBI Design.
DBI Design director Barry Lee and executive interior designer Anna Goh have sourced the Armani/Casa pieces for The Milton.
Mr Lee said Armani/Casa was the epitome of build quality and design sophistication, and featured in signature properties located in the world's style capitals of Milan, Paris, London and New York.
"We set out to find a brand of furniture that was unique to the Australian market and would give The Milton its own trademark, ultra luxurious ambiance," he said.
"What set Armani/Casa apart, along with its rarity, was the depth of the collection, from lamps and hand blown vases to tailored sofas and arm-chairs.
"Like all high end fashion pieces, there is a limited run of each item, and their consistent style and international flavour will ensure The Milton has an individuality of finish that is unlike any other development currently on offer in Brisbane."
FKP Executive General Manager of Developments Queensland Gary Kordic, said the Armani/Casa furnishings would elevate The Milton's interiors to a new level.
"The facilities have been carefully designed to go a step beyond anything else in Brisbane and the inclusion of the Armani/Casa range will ensure our residents have exclusive access to some of, if not the, most luxuriously furnished spaces in the city," he said.
"These furnishings will add a global cultural stamp to a building that embodies leading-edge design."
Along with 298 residential apartments, The Milton will feature resort style facilities, including a roof top sky deck and podium deck featuring exclusive residents' lounge, pools, gymnasium, landscaped barbeque retreats and sauna.
The Milton Sales Centre, featuring a display apartment, is located at 55 Railway Terrace, Milton, and is open between 8am and 4pm daily. For further information, visit The Milton at www.themilton.com.au or call 1800 247 119.
